The Basics

What a Backdrop Lift Does

A backdrop lift is a stand that raises the backdrop for you. The banner goes on the frame at floor level, then a hand crank or a motor lifts it to full height.

That means less ladder work at the venue and fewer people needed for setup. The same frames hold step and repeat banners, photo backdrops and fabric walls.

It is one of our event rentals, and we build the whole package in our Linden shop, from the artwork to the frame on the truck. We rent the frame and print the backdrop to fit it, so the size, the pole pockets or grommets and the frame all match on the day.

How the Lift Works

From Floor Level to Full Height

The backdrop goes on low, then the frame lifts it. No one holds a wide banner over their head.

    A 50 percent deposit starts production in our Linden shop. If the sign needs a permit, we help with the drawings and paperwork.

    We install, you pay the balance

    Our own crew installs it, with bucket and boom trucks for high work. The balance is due at installation.

Backdrop Lift Questions

What is a backdrop lift?

A frame that raises a backdrop for you. The banner goes on at floor level, then a hand crank or a motor lifts it to full height. It saves ladder work on big backdrops.

What sizes do the frames come in?

Frames cover common backdrop sizes such as 8 x 8 ft and 10 x 8 ft, with 9, 10 and 12 ft options. Tell us your size and we confirm the fit.

Do you print the backdrop too?

Yes. We print step and repeats, photo scenes and party backdrops in our Linden shop, sized to the frame. The pole pocket or grommets are finished to match it, so it goes up without changes on site.

Can I use a backdrop I already have?

Send us its size and how it attaches, pole pockets or grommets, and we will tell you if it fits one of our frames.

Should my backdrop be vinyl or fabric?

Vinyl is tough and costs less, and it wipes clean. Fabric has a matte look and folds for storage. We print both.

Do you deliver and set up?

Yes. Our crew can deliver the frame and backdrop and set them up at your venue, or you can pick up at our Linden shop. Send the venue address and your load in time with your quote request.

How early should I book?

As early as you can, since the backdrop is printed for your event and the frame is booked for your date. Ask about rush timing when you request a quote.

How much does a backdrop lift rental cost?

It depends on the backdrop size and print, the frame, your dates and the delivery. Send your event date, venue and backdrop size for a quote.
