Display Stands

Custom Display Stands for New Jersey Stores, Lobbies and Events

We build display stands NJ stores, offices, schools and event teams use to put a sign right where people stop: freestanding panels, sign holder stands, totems and cutout standees. We print the graphics, make the panels and feet in our Linden shop, and deliver and set them up or have them ready for pickup. Need displays for a venue in the five boroughs? See our NYC service area.

What Holds a Display Stand Up

The base decides how a display looks and how easy it is to move. Every sample below is from a stand we made.

Anatomy of a Display

Five Parts of a Freestanding Display Panel

The simplest display stand we make, and the one most events start with.

  1. 1
Printed face Your artLogo, photos and copy printed full color on the front.
  2. 2
Rigid panel BoardA stiff board cut to size, so the display stands flat without a frame.
  3. 3
Feet BaseFeet that slot onto the bottom edge. Metal or board, low or tall.
  4. 4
Back side OptionalLeft plain, or printed too when people walk past from both sides.
  5. 5
Footprint BalanceThe feet reach in front of and behind the panel so it does not tip.

We stand every panel in its feet in our shop before it leaves, so it arrives straight and ready to place.

Events or Everyday

Display Stands for an Event or for Every Day

Some displays are used for one night. Others stand in your lobby for years. We build for both.

Event and trade show displays

  • Sponsor boards, schedules, seating charts and breakout lists.
  • Panels that pack flat, with feet that slot on at the venue.
  • Matched to your step and repeat and table graphics, so the room looks planned.
  • Delivered and set up at the venue, or ready for pickup in Linden.

Store, lobby and office displays

  • Sign holder stands for sales and menus, with prints you swap as often as you like.
  • Room and direction totems that work with your wayfinding signs, with no holes in the wall.
  • Heavier bases and stiffer panels for spots with lots of foot traffic.
  • The same look across every location when you have more than one store.

    Fit and stand

The printed panel goes into its feet and we check that it stands straight.

  3. Dark event display panel standing in the shop aisle for a final check03

    Final check

We look over the print, the edges and the base before it is packed.

  4. Dark event totem with a purple graphic set near a stair rail and a plant in an office04

    Set in place

We deliver and set it where you need it, or you pick it up in Linden.

FAQs

Display Stand Questions

Straight answers to what New Jersey stores, offices and event teams ask about display stands.

What is a display stand?

A sign that stands on its own base instead of hanging on a wall. It can be a printed panel on feet, a frame on a pole, a totem or a cutout standee.

What are sign holder stands?

Metal stands with a frame that holds a printed sign. You slide a new print in when the sale, menu or notice changes, and keep the stand.

Can a display stand be printed on both sides?

Yes. Freestanding panels, totems and many sign holders can carry a print on the front and back, which works well in the middle of a room.

What are the panels made of?

Most are rigid boards such as foam board, ultraboard, PVC or acrylic. We pick the board by size, weight and how long the display needs to last.

Can display stands go outside?

Some can, like a poster stand on a weighted base at an entrance. For full time outdoor use we usually suggest sidewalk signs.

Do you deliver and set up the displays?

Yes. We can deliver and set the displays in place at your store, office or venue, or have them ready for pickup at our Linden shop.

Can you design the graphics?

Yes. Send your logo, copy and photos and our sign design team lays it out. You approve a proof before we print.

How much does a display stand cost?

It depends on the size, the panel, the base, one or two sided printing, the shape and how many you need. Send a rough size and your artwork for a price.

Do you deliver display stands in New York City?

Yes. We deliver and set up display stands in NYC across all five boroughs. See our NYC service area.
