Changeable Strip Directories

Lobby directories, floor directories and tenant boards with strips you can change one name at a time. We build directory signs for office buildings, medical centers, schools and apartment buildings, then keep them current with matching strips as tenants come and go. We also install in the five boroughs; see our NYC service area.

Almost every visitor reads the directory. It is how they find the right floor, the right suite and the right person, often before they meet anyone.
A good directory is easy to scan, uses the same names as the doors upstairs and stays current. An out of date directory sends visitors to empty suites and tells them the building is not cared for.
We design the directory around how many names you have now, leave room to grow and make updates quick and cheap.
From a five line suite board to a full lobby wall. Pick the type that fits your building and how often names change.

Hung from the ceiling to list departments or aisles.
A changeable directory is built from separate strips, one per line. When a tenant moves in or out, you change one strip instead of the whole sign.
The same idea works for doctors in a medical building, departments in a school and residents in an apartment lobby.

Choose the look first. Each style shows its price level, and the strip below shows what sets your exact number.

Our own crew installs it, with bucket and boom trucks for high work. The balance is due at installation.

What New Jersey property managers and practices ask before ordering a directory.
A directory sign lists the tenants, departments or rooms in a building or on a floor, usually with suite numbers and arrows, so visitors can find where they are going.
A changeable strip directory. Each line is its own strip, so you replace one name without touching the rest of the sign.
Send us the new name and suite number. We print a strip that matches the others, and you slide it into place. Paper insert directories can be updated from your own printer.
No. Building directories are an exception in section 216.1 of the 2010 ADA Standards. Room and suite signs at the door may still need raised letters and braille.
It depends on how many names you list and how far away people read it. Send us your current list and we will lay it out with room to grow.
Yes. Most directories have a header with the building name or logo, and each line can carry a suite number and an arrow.
It depends on the size, the number of lines, the material and the install. Send us your tenant list and a photo of the wall and we will price it.
