A 50 percent deposit starts production in our Linden shop. If the sign needs a permit, we handle the paperwork.

Our own crew installs it, with bucket and boom trucks for high work. The balance is due at installation.

Plaque Questions
What New Jersey schools, towns and businesses ask before ordering a plaque.
What is the difference between a cast and an etched plaque?
A cast plaque is made by pouring molten metal into a mold, so the letters and border are raised with real depth. An etched plaque starts as a flat sheet and the letters are etched into it, then filled with paint. Cast is bolder and heavier. Etched handles fine detail, small text and photos.
Which metal is best for an outdoor plaque?
Cast bronze and cast aluminum are the usual choices outside. Both hold up well in the weather. Etched and printed plaques are better suited to indoor walls.
Can you put a logo or a photo on a plaque?
Yes. Logos can be cast in raised metal or etched. Photos and portraits work best etched or printed in full color.
Do I get a proof before the plaque is made?
Yes. You approve a proof with the exact text, layout, metal, border and size before we start.
How are plaques mounted?
Most wall plaques use hidden blind mounts or threaded studs set into the wall, so no screws show. Outdoor plaques can also go on a post or a stake in the ground.
Can you match an existing plaque?
Often, yes. Send us a photo with a tape measure in it and we will match the metal, border and lettering style as closely as we can.
How much does a custom plaque cost?
It depends on the metal, the size, the amount of text, any logo or photo, and the mounting. Send us your text and the size you have in mind and we will price it.
