— Laser Cutting · New Jersey
Gogi Signs cuts intricate profiles and adds engraved text or graphics in compatible sheet materials. Send a vector file, dimensioned drawing or project reference for custom parts, letters, panels, stencils and display components.
Material can be sourced for the project or supplied by you after compatibility review.

One approved file can carry the profile, interior cuts and engraved artwork.
Fabrication experience behind the file
Fine profiles and interior shapes
Text, numbers, logos and patterns
Identified and laser compatible
Single pieces through repeat runs
Vector, drawing, sketch or sample
— Cut and engraved work
Laser cutting is useful when geometry, repeat detail and clean interior features matter. Engraving can be added when the same part also needs identification or visual information.

Detailed profiles
Fine vector outlines cut for dimensional graphics, displays and branded components.

Pattern work
Decorative or functional sheet components with repeat openings and precise outlines.

Cut + engrave
Surface detail added for labels, instructions, numbering, branding or permanent reference.

Working tools
Reusable pieces cut for positioning, marking, craft, fabrication or repeat application.

Repeatable detail
One-off tests and coordinated runs produced from the same approved geometry.

Ready for the build
Cut pieces developed for layered signs, product displays, branded environments and assemblies.
— Material compatibility
Laser suitability cannot be judged by appearance alone. Tell us the exact material and thickness; for customer-supplied products, manufacturer information or a safety data sheet may be needed.
Acrylic
Clear, colored, opaque, cast or extruded sheet selected around cutting, engraving and edge needs.
Wood & MDF
Selected products for lettering, models, displays, templates and engraved detail.
Paper & cardboard
Mockups, packaging elements, templates and detailed lightweight forms.
Felt & selected fabrics
Identified textile products reviewed around cut behavior and finished use.
Engraving materials
Laser-compatible sheet stock for labels, plates, wayfinding and identification.
Other identified products
Reviewed individually from the material specification, thickness and requested process.
Not accepted for laser cutting: PVC, vinyl, polycarbonate or unidentified plastics. If the material is uncertain, send its product name or safety data sheet before bringing it in.
— One file, two operations
A clean production file tells us what leaves the sheet and what stays on the face.
Vector paths define the outside profile and any interior openings.
Artwork is marked into the compatible surface without cutting the profile away.
— Files that reduce guesswork
Vector artwork is the most direct route to production. If you only have a sketch, photo or existing piece, send it and we will identify what must be rebuilt or measured.
Use closed vector paths for outside profiles and interior cutouts. Remove duplicates and hidden lines.
Separate engraved content from cut geometry and convert required fonts to outlines.
Include overall dimensions and mark any feature that must align with hardware or another part.
Name the exact sheet product, color and thickness, or ask us to source a suitable option.
List the quantity of each part and identify any names, numbers or other artwork that changes.
— Acrylic edge finishes
Material compatibility and production geometry are confirmed before cutting or engraving begins.
1
Share artwork, dimensions, quantity, material, intended use and needed-by date.
2
We confirm compatibility, cut paths, engraved content and required file preparation.
3
Material, finish, quantity, pricing, schedule and delivery are confirmed.
4
Components are processed, reviewed and completed with the agreed finishing or packing.
— Laser cutting cost
The outside size is only one part of the estimate. Detail, cut length, engraving and material behavior all shape production time.
01
Material & thickness
Exact product, sheet condition, thickness and sourcing determine whether and how it can be processed.
02
Part size & sheet yield
Dimensions, spacing and nesting determine material use across one or multiple part designs.
03
Cut length & detail
Curves, corners, interior cutouts and tightly detailed geometry affect processing time.
04
Engraving area
Artwork coverage, level of detail, placement and variable information add file and production time.
05
Quantity & file setup
Repeat parts, mixed designs, font outlining and artwork cleanup affect setup and review.
06
Finish & schedule
Cleaning, masking, graphics, assembly, packing, turnaround and delivery complete the scope.
The fastest path to a useful quote: send vector artwork, finished dimensions, quantity, exact material and thickness, identify cut versus engraved content, and include the needed-by date.

— Laser cutting questions
Laser cutting can produce detailed letters, logos, panels, stencils, templates, display components, decorative patterns and repeat parts. The same project can include compatible surface engraving for text, numbering, graphics or identification.
Common project materials include acrylic, selected woods and MDF, paper and cardboard, felt and selected fabrics, and laser-compatible engraving stock. The exact product and thickness must be identified and reviewed before production.
No. Material identity is required because some plastics release hazardous fumes or process poorly. PVC, vinyl, polycarbonate and unidentified plastics are not accepted for laser cutting. An SDS or manufacturer product information may be requested.
Yes, when the selected material is compatible. Cut paths and engraved artwork can be organized in one production file, with engraving used for text, logos, numbers, patterns or surface detail.
Yes. Compatible laser-cut acrylic can have a smooth clear edge, while routed edges can remain machined or receive secondary polishing. Projects can also include beveled or matte edges, engraving, direct printing, vinyl, paint, assembly and mounting hardware.
Vector files such as AI, EPS, PDF, SVG and DXF are preferred for cut paths. We can also review a drawing, sketch, photo or existing sample and identify the file preparation required.
Yes. We can produce one-off components and prototypes as well as repeat runs. An approved production file can be retained, with material and specifications reconfirmed when a project is reordered.
Pricing is based on material and thickness, sheet yield, total cut length, geometry and interior details, engraving area, quantity, file preparation, finishing, timing and delivery requirements.
