— About Gogi Signs
Gogi Signs is a full-service sign company in Linden, Union County, making signage for New Jersey businesses since 2005. Foam board is one of the highest-volume things we run, because almost every business needs it at some point — a pitch board, a trade show display, a price panel, a welcome sign at the door.
Your artwork goes onto our flatbed press and cures directly onto the board. From there it moves to our own laser and CNC to be cut, shaped and finished. Nothing leaves the building and comes back marked up, which is why a change of size or an extra twenty boards is a phone call rather than a fresh quote.
It also means we can turn foam board fast. There is no edge polishing, no mounting hardware and no drying time to wait on — which matters when the board is for a meeting on Thursday.

— Applications
Foam board is what you reach for when a sign has to look sharp, weigh nothing and be in the room by a particular date.

Board meetings, client pitches, planning hearings and public consultations. We print them at 24″ × 36″ or 36″ × 48″ with an easel back, so they stand up on a table without a stand to carry.

Booth panels, product boards and backdrop graphics that go in a car rather than a crate. Light enough to check as luggage, and cheap enough to reprint for the next show rather than store. Pairs with event signage.

Shelf talkers, counter cards, window panels, price and promotion boards. Printed short and fast so the offer on the board matches the offer this week, and replaced rather than repaired.

Welcome boards, seating charts, menu displays, milestone and photo boards. This is where shaped cutting earns its keep — a board cut to an outline reads as designed rather than printed.

Floor plans, feature boards and open-house displays for inside the property. Agents pair them with coroplast yard signs outside — foam board handles the interior, coroplast takes the weather.

Directional and room signage for short-term use, plus artwork, photography and poster mounting. Foam core gives a flat, gallery-style finish without the weight or cost of framing.
— The basics
Foam board, also called foam core, foamcore, or foam core board, is a lightweight, rigid sign panel made from a polystyrene foam core sandwiched between two coated-paper sheets. Foam board signs and foam core signs are the same product, with both terms used interchangeably in the sign industry. The smooth paper surface produces crisp photography, graphics, and fine type, while even a 36″ × 48″ board remains easy to carry with one hand.
Foam board is intended for interior use because moisture can cause delamination, warping, and permanent damage. It should not be confused with PVC foam board, commonly sold as Sintra, which is made from expanded PVC rather than paper-faced polystyrene. PVC foam board is a more durable solid plastic panel suitable for indoor, covered, and certain outdoor applications. In short, foam board and foam core are different names for the same smooth-printing interior sign panel, while PVC foam board is a separate material with different durability and pricing.

— Local sign company
Foam board is a commodity right up until the date matters or the shape is unusual. That is where a shop with its own press and cutter beats an upload form.
Foam board needs no edge finishing or hardware, making it one of our quickest panels to produce. Stock sizes can often be ready the same day when the schedule allows.
We can cut foam board into logo outlines, arrows, letters, display shapes, and other custom profiles using the same cutting equipment we use for our other panels.
Foam board works well indoors, but we can recommend stronger options for outdoor or high-use signs.
If you do not have a print-ready file, our design team can prepare the artwork for you. You receive a proof at the final size before anything goes to print.
If you are working with a tight deadline, you can pick up your finished foam boards from our Linden location instead of waiting for delivery.
We keep your artwork, sizes, and colour specifications on file, making repeat orders easier and helping new boards match your previous run.
— Printing
We print your design onto high-quality vinyl and mount it securely to the foam board panel. This produces a smooth, professional finish while keeping your graphics sharp and vibrant, making foam board an excellent choice for photography, promotional displays, presentations, and event signage.

— Specifications
Foam board is light enough that most of it never touches a wall fixing. We finish it for how you are actually going to stand it up.

— Ordering
A clear approval path keeps bulk, trade and multi-location orders moving without guesswork.
1
Size, quantity, whether it needs an easel back, and your date. Artwork in AI, EPS, PDF or SVG, or a high-resolution image. No artwork is not a problem for us.
2
We come back the same working day with a price and a production date. If foam board is wrong for the job, we tell you before you commit.
3
A proof at actual size showing bleed, safe area and any cut line. We print and cut nothing until you sign it off.
4
Pick up from our Linden shop — usually the fastest route on a tight date — or let us deliver across the tri-state area.
— Wholesale printing FAQs
A foam board sign — you will also see foamcore signs, foam core signs and printed foam board, all meaning the same product — is printed onto a lightweight panel made from a polystyrene foam core between two sheets of coated paper. It is rigid, almost weightless, and gives the smoothest print surface of any panel we run — which is why it is the standard for presentation boards, trade show displays, retail point-of-purchase and event signage. It is an interior product.
No, and this one catches people out regularly. Foam board — also called foam core — has a polystyrene core with paper faces and stays indoors. PVC foam board is expanded PVC, sold as Sintra: solid plastic throughout, far more durable, and fine indoors or under cover outside. Similar names, completely different products.
No. The paper facing absorbs moisture, and once it does the board delaminates and warps for good — one rain shower can end it. For outdoor work we would move you to coroplast for short-term use or Dibond for permanent exterior signage.
We print every board in Linden, Union County, and get it to you across the tri-state area.
Foam board leaves our shop daily for pitch meetings, trade show booths, store openings and weddings. Because it needs no hardware and no curing time, collection is usually the fastest route when a date is tight — Linden is twenty minutes from most of the county, and boards can be waiting at the counter.
We deliver across New Jersey and into New York City, and our crews handle installed work where a display is going up rather than being carried in.

We cut to any size up to 48″ × 96″ from a single sheet. Our common sizes are 18″ × 24″, 24″ × 36″, 30″ × 40″ and 36″ × 48″. Anything outside those we cut to order without a setup charge, including contour and shaped cuts.
Production time is confirmed after Gogi Signs reviews the product, quantity, artwork, material, finishing and delivery requirements. Share the required date when requesting a quote so the production plan can be checked before the order is approved.
Indoors and handled carefully, years. In practice most are made for a specific event, campaign or presentation and replaced afterwards. The corners are the weak point, so boards that travel to repeat events are worth ordering in 1/2″ — or in gator board if they are on the road regularly.
Yes. Foam board runs on the same laser and CNC as every other panel we cut, so contour cuts, logo outlines, arrows, radiused corners, standing shapes and internal apertures are all routine. Shaped cut-outs are one of the most common foam board jobs we take. See our cutting services.
Most foam board goes onto an easel back, a table easel or a stand. For walls we use removable adhesive strips that lift cleanly off paint, or hook and loop for booth panels. We can also drill hanging holes, add a magnetic backing, or cut a foot into the panel so a shaped board stands on its own.
No. We print a single presentation board and a run of two hundred event signs on the same press. Your price per board falls as the quantity increases, and we apply volume pricing automatically.
Most orders run in a few business days from artwork approval, and we can go rush or same-day on stock sizes. Foam board is the fastest panel we run — no edge finishing, no mounting hardware, nothing to cure — which is why it suits work with a fixed date on it.
