Coroplast Signs and Yard Signs Made in New Jersey

Gogi Signs has been printing signage in New Jersey since 2005, and coroplast yard signs are one of the highest-volume things we run. It is the cheapest weatherproof panel in signage — waterproof, light enough to post with one hand, and inexpensive enough that nobody minds replacing it after a season.

That economy is exactly why it goes wrong elsewhere. Coroplast has hollow flutes running through it, and which way those flutes run decides whether the sign stands up in wind or folds at the stake. It is set when the sheet is cut, not when the sign is planted, so it is not something you can fix on site.

We print it, cut it and finish it here, on sheet we hold in stock. A rush order does not go into a queue behind a supplier, and a question about size, stakes or timing gets answered by someone who can walk over and look at the job.

— Real estate

Real Estate Yard Signs for New Jersey Agents

Listing signs, open house signs and directional arrows — the highest-repeat coroplast job we run. Agents order in sets and come back every time the branding changes or the stock runs down.

If the signs are going up alongside a listing presentation or a window display, we print those too — see window decals.

— Political & campaign

Political Yard Signs and Campaign Signs

Campaigns run to a calendar that does not move. Political yard signs are ordered in volume, deployed in a weekend, and every one of them has to survive until the polls close.

Campaigns rarely stop at signs. We print the vinyl banners and sidewalk signs on the same schedule, and the colors match across the set because they come off the same press.

Event, Business and Job Site Coroplast Signs

Everything else we print on corrugated plastic — including plenty that never goes near a stake.

Construction & Job Site Boards

Contractor boards, permit notices and safety signage, grommeted and zip-tied to fencing. Longer jobs move up to 6mm. For permanent site identification see job site signs.

custom coroplast yard signs

Parking & Directional

Reserved bays, visitor parking, one-way arrows and lot wayfinding. Drilled for screw mounting onto posts and walls, or grommeted for fencing.

events celebrations yard signage nj

Events & Celebrations

Graduations, birthdays, weddings, church and school events. Small quantities, quick turnaround, and cheap enough that nobody is precious about them afterwards.

retail promotions yard signs

Retail & Promotions

Now open, sale and seasonal messaging outside a storefront. Swapped as often as the offer changes, which is the whole argument for coroplast over anything rigid.

bandit signs and roadside panels

Bandit Signs and Roadside Panels

The high-volume roadside panels used by investors, contractors and services. Printed cheap and printed in bulk, because a proportion of them will not come home. Check your township rules before posting.

large custom panels

Large & Custom Panels

36″×48″ and bigger, cut to whatever size the opening needs. This is where coroplast stops being a yard sign and starts being a cheap weatherproof board.

— The basics

What Is Coroplast? Corrugated Plastic Signs Explained

Coroplast is corrugated plastic — a polypropylene sheet with hollow flutes running through the middle, like cardboard made of plastic instead of paper. That construction is the whole product: it makes the panel light and stiff at the same time, and it costs almost nothing to produce.

It does not absorb water, so it does not rot, swell or delaminate the way a paper-cored board does. Left outside it fails by fading rather than falling apart. Corrugated plastic signs are treated as seasonal rather than permanent for that reason.

The flutes are also the catch. They give the sheet its strength in one direction only, so a panel that is rigid the right way round is floppy the wrong way round. Getting that right is the difference between a sign that stands through a storm and one that folds in a breeze.

— Specification

Coroplast Sizes, Thickness and Printing Options

Two thicknesses cover most of what we run, and the standard size exists because the stakes were built for it.

— Thickness we stock

3mm — the common one Standard yard signs, campaigns, events and anything high-volume or short-term. Light, cheap and the default unless there is a reason to go up.
4mm — available Sits between the two. Specified when a job wants a little more body than 3mm without the cost of 6mm.
6mm — the other common one Larger panels, longer outdoor life, and exposed positions where wind is the problem. Noticeably stiffer, and the right call for intersections and big boards.

Flutes run vertically on staked signs as standard. If a panel is mounting some other way, tell us and we will orient the sheet to suit it.

— Sizes and printing

18″ × 24″
The standard yard sign. If you have been quoted for 18×24 yard signs anywhere else, this is the same panel

36″ × 48″

Custom sizes
Cut from sheet to whatever the opening needs — not limited to yard sign dimensions

Optional, and the practical way to stretch a sign past one season

— Finishing & mounting

Stakes, Grommets and Mounting Yard Signs

A coroplast sign is only as good as what holds it up — and stakes are only one of the answers.

Stakes

H stakes for yard signs are the standard — a wire frame whose two legs slide up inside the flutes, so the sign is supported along its height rather than clipped at one point. They are priced separately, because a yard sign needs one and a fence panel does not.

construction job site boards

Grommets and Drilled Holes

For everything that hangs, screws or ties instead of standing. Grommets take zip ties and rope, drilled holes take screws and bolts — both are specified when you order rather than punched by you afterwards.

— Why order from us

Why Our Customers Order Yard Signs From Us

Two thicknesses cover most of what we run, and the standard size exists because the stakes were built for it.

Gogi Signs has been printing signage in New Jersey since 2005, from one shop in Linden. Yard signs are a commodity right up until something goes wrong — and when it does, the cause is nearly always the same.

The flutes run the wrong way and the sign folds at the stake. The artwork bleeds off at the bottom because nobody accounted for the ground. Or the order lands the day after the event, which makes the other two academic.

None of those are printing problems. They are attention problems, and they are why ordering from the shop that prints the job beats ordering from a website that forwards it to one.

We Cut the Flutes the Right Way

Vertical on anything going on a stake, so the legs run the full height. Decided at cutting, and not fixable afterwards.

Same-Day Rush Is Real

On stock sizes with artwork ready to print. We hold the sheet, so a rush job does not wait on a supplier.

Stakes Priced Separately

You pay for the ones going in the ground. Fence and wall panels are not quietly charged for hardware they will never use.

Artwork Checked Before Printing

We flag artwork bleeding off the bottom edge before it prints, not after you have 200 of them.

One Invoice Across the Set

Signs, banners and sidewalk signs on one schedule, and the colors match because they come off one press.

Collect the Same Day

Twenty minutes from most of Union County. On a genuine rush, collection beats any courier.

— Comparison

Coroplast Compared With Other Rigid Panels

Coroplast is the cheapest weatherproof panel we print. That is its whole argument, and it is a good one.

Material Environment Typical Life Best For Cost
Coroplast Outdoor Weeks to a season Yard signs, campaigns, job sites, events $
Foam board Indoor only Event to months Presentations, trade shows, retail POP $
PVC / Sintra Indoor / covered Several years Directories, menu boards, cut letters $$
Dibond Full exterior Years in weather Storefronts, building ID, monument faces $$$
Acrylic Indoor / covered Years indoors Reception walls, door plates, photo panels $$$

Cost compares the range at the same size and quantity. See all rigid signs.

Where Coroplast Wins

Anything temporary that has to survive weather, and anything ordered in quantity. Nothing else we print costs so little per sign, and nothing else lets you post a hundred of them in an afternoon and not mind if some do not come back.

Where We Would Move You

A sign that stays up for years belongs on Dibond. Anything indoors and presentable is better on foam board or PVC. If the sign represents the business at its front door, coroplast is the wrong panel at any price.

How to Order Yard Signs From Us

1

Send the Details

Size, quantity, single or double sided, and whether you need stakes. Artwork as vector or high-resolution PDF — and the date you need them by, because that decides everything else.

2

Get a Quote

A price and a production date back the same working day, with stakes itemised separately so you can see what the hardware costs. If a different thickness suits the job, we say so before you commit.

3

Approve the Proof

A proof showing the artwork at size, with the bottom margin checked so nothing important disappears behind the grass. Double sided jobs are proofed both sides.

4

Print, Finish and Collect

Printed, cut with the flutes the right way, grommeted or drilled as specified. Collect from Linden or have them delivered. Same-day rush available on stock sizes.

Yard Signs Across New Jersey and NYC

Printed in Linden, Union County, and delivered across the tri-state area — or collected the same day.

Yard signs are the one product where being close changes the outcome. A campaign that needs a second wave by Saturday, an agent with three listings going live on Monday, an event that moved — those are collection jobs, not courier jobs, and we are twenty minutes from most of Union County.

Searching for yard signs near me or coroplast signs near me usually means a deadline. Tell us the date first and we will work backwards from it.

— FAQs

Coroplast and Yard Signs — Frequently Asked Questions

Coroplast signs are printed on corrugated plastic — a lightweight polypropylene sheet with hollow flutes running through the middle, like plastic cardboard. It is waterproof, will not rot or rust, and is the cheapest weatherproof panel in signage. Yard signs, campaign signs and job site boards are almost always made from it.

Not quite. Coroplast is the material and yard signs are one thing made from it. A yard sign is a coroplast panel sized to go on a stake in the ground. We also print coroplast at sizes no stake would ever hold — parking and directional panels, job site boards, event signage, and custom sizes that hang, screw or zip-tie into place instead.

We run 3mm, 4mm and 6mm. 3mm and 6mm are the common two: 3mm for standard yard signs, campaigns and anything short-term or high-volume, and 6mm for larger panels, longer outdoor life and anywhere the sign has to resist flexing. 4mm sits between them and is available when a job calls for it.

18″×24″ is the standard yard sign and what most stakes are built for. We also run 12″×18″ for smaller directional and open house signs, and 24″×36″ and 36″×48″ for larger panels. Because we cut from sheet, custom sizes are available too — coroplast is not limited to yard sign dimensions.

Stakes are priced separately. A yard sign needs one to stand up, so we quote them together as a matter of course, but plenty of coroplast jobs never go near a stake — parking panels, job site boards and event signage mount with grommets, drilled holes or zip ties instead. You only pay for stakes if the job needs them.

Yes. Double sided yard signs are standard for anything people approach from both directions — real estate, campaigns, directional and open house signage. Printing the second side costs less than printing the first, so it is usually worth doing on any sign at a roadside or a corner.

The panel itself is waterproof and will outlast the printing. Expect a season of full outdoor exposure from a standard sign, longer on 6mm and longer again with a UV laminate. Coroplast is built to be cheap and replaceable rather than permanent — for signage that stays up for years, Dibond is the right panel.

Grommets for hanging or zip-tying, and drilled holes for screw or fence mounting. We do not round corners on coroplast — the flute construction means a square cut is cleaner and holds up better on a stake.

Same-day and rush turnaround are available on stock sizes when artwork is ready to print. Larger runs, custom sizes and jobs needing artwork setup take longer. Tell us the date you need them by and we will tell you straight away whether it is achievable.

Vertically, so the stake legs slide up inside the flutes and the sign is supported along its full height. Flutes running the wrong way is the single most common reason a yard sign folds over at the stake, and it is decided at cutting, not at installation.

Yes. We print in Linden, Union County, and deliver across New Jersey and the wider tri-state area including New York City. Collection from the shop is usually the quickest option on rush jobs, and large campaign runs can be split across delivery drops.
