Commercial Sign Service
— Sign Company in Secaucus
Secaucus is not a typical North Jersey storefront market. Warehouses, distribution facilities, hotels, office properties, industrial buildings, retail centers, restaurants, service businesses and Meadowlands-area commercial properties create a much broader signage environment.
A company here may need its name visible on a large commercial building, dock doors clearly numbered for deliveries, directional signs across the property, branded vehicles leaving every morning, and office identification inside the same location.
Since 2005, our New Jersey team has worked with businesses that need storefront signs, channel letters, dimensional lettering, warehouse signs, dock and door identification, window graphics, office signs, ADA signage, directories, vehicle graphics, banners and complete commercial sign packages.
— Signs as a System
Secaucus sits close to Manhattan while staying heavily connected to the Meadowlands, regional highways, rail infrastructure, warehouses, distribution operations, hotels, offices and larger commercial properties. That produces sign projects very different from nearby Hoboken or downtown Jersey City.
For these properties the signage has to work as a system across the site, not as a company name attached to one wall.
— Tenant Changeover
Warehouses and distribution facilities are a major part of the Secaucus commercial landscape, and they take several different arrivals through the same gate all day.
Employees, delivery drivers, freight carriers, vendors, customers, contractors and visitors all reach the property, and each needs a different part of it. Facility identification is what separates them before anyone has to stop and ask.
Dock and overhead-door numbering is the other half of the package, and on a property of any size it needs to be planned as one system — covered in the next section.
The entrance signs themselves
On a large site the legends do most of the work. These are the faces we fabricate most often:
A well-planned warehouse sign package reduces uncertainty before someone has to stop and ask where to go.

— How It Works
Gogi Signs has served New Jersey businesses since 2005, from a shop in Linden.
01
Site Survey
We measure the building, walk the property, and document existing signage, dock and door positions, entrances, approach routes and mounting conditions.
02
Design and Planning
Artwork and sizing are fitted to the actual elevation, viewing distance, approach direction and the requirements that apply to the address.
03
Fabrication and Printing
Approved work moves through fabrication, cutting, large-format printing, vinyl production, finishing and electrical assembly where applicable.
04
Installation
Our insured installation crew coordinates site access around operating hours, removes existing signage where included, and installs the completed package.
05
Futuire Service
When an operator changes, a directory needs a new listing, a dock number is damaged or another facility opens, we can continue from the existing specifications.
— Dock & Door Numbering
A warehouse with three loading doors is simple. A distribution property with twenty, thirty or more requires a system. Dock numbers should stay:
The same numbering then continues inside the facility where useful — exterior Dock 12 corresponding to interior Receiving Area 12.
Shipping and receiving departments can use consistent terminology throughout. Rather than one sign saying “Deliveries”, another “Receiving” and a third “Truck Entrance” with no clear relationship between them, we set one hierarchy for the whole site. For a facility handling regular freight traffic, that is the difference between a driver finding the door and a driver phoning the office.
— Building Identification
Secaucus buildings are much larger than a typical neighborhood storefront, and the sign has to be designed accordingly. A set of letters that looks substantial on a drawing can disappear when installed high on a broad warehouse or office façade.
— Route 3 & Meadowlands
Route 3 provides direct regional access toward the Lincoln Tunnel and connects the area with major highways serving Hudson, Bergen and surrounding counties. The New Jersey Turnpike and the Meadowlands transportation network reinforce Secaucus as a regional commercial location.
That means faster-moving traffic and larger properties, so a roadside-facing building sign has to communicate quickly. The business name and logo should dominate — long service lists, phone numbers, websites and secondary messages get harder to process as viewing distance and vehicle speed increase. Secondary information moves elsewhere:
The property communicates better when each sign has one clear job.
— Approvals
Commercial signs here are subject to municipal zoning and permitting — and on most of these properties, to a second set of rules as well.
What the address decides:
Two sets of rules, not one
Commercial centers, hotels, office properties, warehouses and multi-tenant buildings frequently maintain their own landlord or property-management sign criteria on top of the municipal requirements. Both have to be satisfied before fabrication begins, so we start with the exact address and ask for the property criteria alongside it.
The application is filed by you or your landlord. We assist with permits; we do not file them on your behalf.

— Tenant Changeover
On a large property the previous occupant usually leaves a working sign framework behind. We survey it before quoting a replacement.
What you may inherit
Dock numbers and directional signs often stay useful even when the company occupying the building changes, and a sound cabinet may only need a new face.
What the changeover covers
Anything damaged, incorrectly sized or unsuitable for the incoming operation comes off.
— Repair & Maintenance
Large commercial properties accumulate a lot of signage, and it wears at different rates. LEDs fail, faces fade, letters loosen, dock numbers get struck by trailers, vinyl ages, directories go out of date and electrical components fail.
Gogi Signs repairs and updates commercial signage even when another company originally fabricated it. Common service work includes:
Where the existing structure remains useful, repair or refacing usually makes more sense than replacement on a property this size.
